The Charles Corm Foundation has the pleasure to host Thursday, June 8th 2023 the book signing "Phoenician Alphabet" by sculptor Nayla Romanos Iliya.
Join us for a conversation between the artist and the brilliant curator Rose Issa.
Followed by a tour of the Charles Corm house.
Corm, who published in the 1930s an index of Phoenician art (L’Art Phénicien) considered the invention of the modern alphabet as the most brilliant gift to civilization. Today, the foundation is happy to explore Nayla Romanos Iliya's artistic take on the Phoenicians' alphabet.
