The idea of Lebanon according to Jabre, Rihani and Corm
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of writer Jamil Jabre’s birth, his son is organising a round table on the idea of Lebanon for Jabre, Rihani and Corm.
Professor May Albert Rihani will talk about Amin Rihani, Kamal Khalil Nakhlé will present Jamil Jabre’s contribution and Christian Taoutel, head of the history and international relations department at Saint Joseph University will discuss Corm's humanist outlook.
An exhibition of Jacqueline Jabre’s paintings, Jamil Jabre's widow, will take place Friday, June 14th and Saturday June 15th. Jacqueline will give a Chinese ink « masterclass » on Saturday June 14th at 11 AM.
Round table : Friday, June 14th at 5pm.
