The Perfume of Clouds – Cartoonist Zarbo at the Charles Corm Foundation

We are pleased to open foundation's doors to cartoonist Zarbo for his beautiful book “The Perfume of Clouds” (Le Parfum des Nuages / عطر السحاب in its original French- Arabic versions).
The exhibition is an invitation to discover the rural landscapes of the Akkar through the changing seasons at Chambouk farm. Large water colors and a series of cartoon strip depict the farm in all its humanity and sometimes with humor. The drawings are accompanied by specially composed music by Rita Abou Khalil (piano), Paul Abi Taraby (oud), Elie Farah (nay) and Louis Zeeny (percussions).
From March 1st to 9th (1 week) with an opening event Saturday March 2nd at 5pm with the author and his Arabic translator Antoine Daher along with live music show. March 1-9, from 9 am - 1pm. Friday and Saturday 3- 5PM. School groups, call 03 35 14 71. Free entrance.
“Conversation with Zarbo” at the Grand Lycée Franco-Libanais, Wednesday March 6th at 6:00 PM. Free entrance.
